Publisher Tokuma Shoten announced on January 27th that it will bring back its Voice Animage magazine on February 20th, following a 7 year break. The magazine about voice actors launched in 1994 following a few trial issues, and ended its run with its 42nd issue in 2002. The magazine's editor, Hideaki Kobayashi, moved to rival publisher Kadokawa Shoten the same year, where he created Voice Newtype magazine.

The first new Voice Animage issue is slated to report on the filming of a music video for Daisuke Ono's first full album. The issue (80 pages, all-color) will also include interviews with Hiroyuki Yoshino, Jun Fukuyama, Kenichi Suzumura, Mamoru Miyano, Daisuke Namikawa, Mitsuki Saiga, Naozumi Takahashi, Aya Hirano, Yui Horie, and others. The magazine will be bundled with extras including postcards and a variety CD with summaries and cast comments for the Shinobi Life and Seiho High School Men's!!! CD dramas.
