Media Blasters has announced that the first disc of Gunparade March will hit stores on January 27, 2004. The disc will contain four episodes and be released in two versions. The standard version will retail for $29.99 and will be a disc-only release. The second edition will be a disc with box release and will retail for $39.99.

FanimeCon 2004 has announced that its first guest will be Hajime Watanabe. Watanabe is famous for his character designs in Kodomo no Omocha, Tsukikage Ran, and Animation Runner Kuromi, among other titles.

FUNimation is offering fans a chance to win one of five production cels in celebration of the release of the Blue Gender DVD box set. By answering five Blue Gender-related trivia questions, entrants will be entered in a contest to win one of the five cels that come complete with pencil sketches, and are valued at approximately $250 each. ADV Films has announced that it will be launching the Anime Channel on Time Warner's cable network and hopes to be rolling content out by November. The network will be based on video-on-demand, rather than a subscription service.
