4Kids Entertainment has licensed Shaman King to Konami Digital Entertainment for the purpose of developing a video game based on the series.

Under the agreement, Konami will publish for both the Sony Playstation 2 and the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. From the details that have been released, the Playstation 2 version will feature elements of strategy, battling and role-playing games as players challenge enemies that wish to stop the Grand Tournament from taking place. The Game Boy Advance release will be a side-scrolling adventure in which players utilize Yoh's inherent ability to control ghosts to defeat enemies.

Both games will be released in North America in the summer of 2004, with a European release in 2005.
