Koge Donbo is scheduled to make an appearance at Anime Gamers' California retail store on August 3, from 11AM to 12PM. The popular manga artist/illustrator will be signing autographs during this brief appearance. Koge Donbo is known mainly for her work on DiGi Charat and Pita Ten.

Terios has announced that its adult PC game Ikinari Happy Bell will be receiving an anime adaptation. On that same note, Keitaro Arima's manga series Moon Phase is set to debut as an anime series in October.

Toshiba, NEC, and Memory-Tech announced that they will be hosting the "HD DVD Showcase" from July 26 to July 28 in Tokyo. Named the "successor to the DVD" by some sources, the medium is already being backed by several film and anime companies, including Pony Canyon. The future of the medium is still unknown at the moment.
